Ben Graydon has a varied background. Growing up a farm boy in Ohio , he moved south to attend college, getting a Bachelor’s degree in history from Bob Jones University . Then, after five years of teaching in private schools in three states, he returned to the South to work in law enforcement and to get a Master’s degree in public administration from Clemson University and the University of South Carolina.  Ben led a fire department and served as head of security for several large gated communities. Ben and his wife, parents to seven wonderful children, founded Parents United in Responsibility for Education (www.pureducation.com) to encourage all parents to take on fully their most important responsibility. During all of this, one activity was constant: writing. On this website is a sampling of some of the varied topics Ben addresses – from education to law, from history to health, from politics to the church – none are sacred, and in all, Ben persistently urges personal knowledge and the responsibility that goes with it.
